Oceangate Funding Group, a small-business funding broker in Ogden, Utah, discloses here that it is a broker, not a lender; that lending partners make credit decisions and set rates and terms; that a merchant cash advance is not a loan; and that no approval, amount, cost or timing can be promised in advance.
Our role
Oceangate Funding Group is a broker, not a lender. We do not make loans, purchase receivables, issue credit decisions or set prices. Oceangate Funding Group connects you with lending partners; partners make credit decisions and set rates and terms.
Decisions belong to partners
Whether a request is approved, the amount offered, the rate or factor rate, the term, the security and any fees are set by the lending partner under its own criteria. We cannot promise approval or any particular outcome, and nothing on this site is an offer of credit.
Merchant cash advances
A merchant cash advance is not a loan. It is a purchase of a portion of a business's future receivables, collected through a holdback or fixed debit. Advance agreements are between your business and the funder.
Information and credit checks
When a request goes to a lending partner, that partner may obtain business and personal credit reports and may contact you directly. Its use of your information is governed by its own privacy policy. Ours is in the Privacy Policy.
Examples and calculators
Figures in examples and calculators on this site are hypothetical arithmetic, chosen to show a method. They are not offers, quotes or typical terms.
